Today we present to you the Prolights Astra Profile300LTIP and Astra Profile500LTIP, two new IP65 LED Profile Moving head fixtures, whose characteristics meet all the requirements of modern lighting productions!
Prolights Astra Profile300LTIP and Profile500LTIP
New Prolights fixtures are designed for demanding applications in the concert industry, theatres, television studios, rental and outdoor productions. Prolights Astra Profile LTIP series combines a powerful LED light source, Long Throw optics, a robust IP65 housing and advanced beam shaping capabilities, delivering reliable performance regardless of the size of the production.
The devices bring creative flexibility and are developed with an emphasis on precise projection and efficient lighting over long distances. The specially designed Long Throw optical system provides a strong and uniform light beam while successfully maintaining the sharpness of gobo projections when using the entire zoom range.
Both devices use LED white light source, with white temperature of 6.500 K, Astra Profile300LTIP uses a 300W LED engine with a light output of 12,000 lumens, while the Profile500LTIP is powered by a 500W LED engine that delivers an impressive 25,000 lumens. The output power ensures successful lighting from smaller stage productions to large festival stages.
Prolights Astra Profile300LTIP uses a 135 mm front lens and a motorized linear zoom from 3.9° to 44.1°, making it an ideal choice for medium-sized productions, theaters and concert stages where flexibility, compact dimensions and low weight (26 kg) are important. For larger concert productions, arenas and outdoor festival events, the more powerful Prolights Astra Profile500LTIP has been developed! Equipped with a larger 156 mm front lens and a zoom range from 4.2° to 50.1°, the device provides even greater range and greater coverage of large stage spaces. Compared to the Profile300LTIP, the Profile500LTIP is 8 kilograms heavier.
Creative tools for dynamic lighting design
The devices are equipped with a wide range of creative effects that give lighting designers maximum freedom when shaping the scene. Both models are equipped with a framing shutter system that allows beam shaping using 4 independently controlled blades with position and angle adjustment of ±30° and a framing system rotation of ±45°.
Both fixtures use an advanced CMY color mixing system (on 3 gradually fading color wheels) and linear CTO that allow smooth transitions between colors and precise adjustment of light temperature. The effects included are an FX generator through 2 overlapping prisms for air effects, a 4-f circular prism with bidirectional rotation and indexing, a 4-f (6-f for Profile500LTIP) linear prism with rotation, an animation wheel, linear 0-100% frost and 7 rotating gobos + open. The Astra Profile 500LTIP additionally has 8 fixed gobos + open, double frost and motorized iris. With 16-bit pan (540°) and tilt (270°) movements, the fixtures bring exceptional creative flexibility.
IP65 i CRMX
Astra Profile300LTIP supports optional CRMX wireless DMX communication, while the Astra Profile500LTIP includes integrated CRMX and support for Ethernet control protocols as standard, making it an ideal choice for complex touring productions, broadcast systems and large installations. Both devices are constructed in a fully sealed die-cast magnesium alloy housing, which effectively protects the internal components from dust, moisture and rain. They come with an IP65 rating, which allows safe operation on open stages, festivals, sporting events and permanent outdoor installations.
