ModeHoist bases its development on a combination of safety, reliability, compact design and innovative technology, with a particular focus on solutions that simplify and speed up the process of setting up stage equipment. The company has been developing professional lifting systems since 2007, and today its portfolio is geared toward the modern demands of stage and event production. The ModeHoist range combines classic electric chain hoists with innovative battery-powered and wireless technologies that offer even greater flexibility and ease of use.
ModeHoist FreeHoist – Wireless Lifting and Lowering
A special place in the ModeHoist range is occupied by the ModeHoist FreeHoist, an innovative battery powered chain hoist that brings a completely different approach to lifting equipment. Unlike classic electric chain hoists, the FreeHoist requires no power cable or traditional control console. It is powered by a built-in lithium battery, and can be operated via smartphone, tablet or a portable controller. Multiple hoists can be synchronized and controlled as a group, which significantly simplifies the setup of larger production systems.
FreeHoist has a load capacity of 1,000 kg, IP65 protection, a built-in load sensor, overload protection and a 36V lithium battery sufficient for up to 150 m of cumulative lifting and lowering at a load of 1,000 kg. The lifting speed is 3.5 m/min with built-in load monitoring. For production crews, this means fewer cables, a simpler load-in and greater flexibility when setting up equipment.
ModeHoist 611 D8+ series
ModeHoist 611 D8+ series was developed for professional applications where compact dimensions, reliable lifting, and safety are key requirements. The series includes versions with load capacities of 250, 500, and 1,000 kilograms and is equipped with a dual electromagnetic braking system and an electronic load limiter.
The 611 D8+ models are designed for lifting and positioning truss structures, lighting, LED screens, line array systems, and other stage equipment, and are particularly appealing to rental and touring users due to their compact construction and ease of handling.
ModeHoist 611 D8+ 250 kg – Maximum Compactness
The lightest version in the series, the 611 D8+ 250 kg, was developed for situations where minimizing equipment weight is important, while still retaining the professional characteristics required for stage rigging. The motor measures just 345 × 200 × 106 mm, while the motor itself weighs only 13 kg without the chain.
The standard version uses a G100 chain measuring 5 × 15 mm, and various chain lengths are available. With a load capacity of 250 kg, a lifting speed of 4 m/min, and a 0.2 kW motor the 611 D8+ 250 kg is a particularly attractive solution for lighter truss structures, lighting systems, and other smaller production loads.
ModeHoist 611 D8+ 500 kg – A Compact Solution for Rental and Touring
The 611 D8+ 500 kg is the mid-range version in the series and a good choice for a wide range of professional production applications. With a load capacity of 500 kg, the hoist weighs 19.5 kg and measures 35.8 × 22.0 × 12 cm, making it compact enough for mobile productions while still offering greater capacity for more demanding systems.
The model uses a 6 × 18 mm chain, a lifting speed of 4 m/min, and a 0.45 kW motor. It is designed for three-phase power in the 220–440 V range, with IP65 protection. The safety system includes a dual electromagnetic brake, an electronic load limiter, and adjustable limit switches.
ModeHoist 611 D8+ 1,000 kg – For More Demanding Production Systems
For productions requiring greater capacity, the 611 D8+ 1T offers a load capacity of up to 1,000 kg in a compact housing weighing 32 kilograms (without chain). The chain hoist measures 44.5 × 25.7 × 14 cm, uses a 7.1 × 21 mm chain and is designed for professional lifting of truss structures, line array systems, lighting, and LED screens.
Thanks to the combination of load capacity and relatively compact construction, the 611 D8+ 1T is particularly well-suited for larger touring productions, concerts, festivals, theaters, and events where larger truss systems, LED screens, or line array configurations need to be lifted.
