Heir off the legendary MegaPointe
Robe's MegaPointe has been the go-to fixture for lighting professionals for almost a decade, with over 50,000 units sold worldwide! Its output power, speed, and wide range of effects have made it an indispensable member of stage rigs, making it an indispensable choice for concerts, festivals, EDM productions, clubs, and permanent installations.
Its successor, the ROBE GigaPointe, marks Robe's step into a new generation of multispectral lighting fixtures (with a laser source) that retains everything that made the MegaPointe legendary, and with the integration of new technologies, takes it all to a new GIGA level!
ROBE GigaPointe anywhere, anytime
GigaPointe is a versatile lighting fixture that delivers extremely powerful light output, a wide range of dynamic effects, and fast, precise movement that transforms any space into a premium visual spectacle. The device uses an advanced LSW-3™ 350W white phosphor laser source that delivers a cutting, highly contrasted beam with an intensity of almost 4,000,000 lx at 5 meters. All of this together delivers extreme projection quality along with a very strong visual impression, regardless of the space in which it is used.
Precise optics with a front lens with a diameter of 150 mm create uniform beams, dynamic shapes and impressive effects, GigaPointe brings a range of beams from 1.8° to 21° in beam mode and from 3° to 42° in spot mode, which are automatically adjusted to the selected effects. Beam reducers as well as frost filters of 1° and 5° are integrated, which allow additional flexibility from sharp air beams to soft wash effects.
Unparalleled range of colors and effects
The device brings a full spectrum of imaginative possibilities that make it a creatively perfect lighting tool. Colors are maximized thanks to the CMY color mixing system, a dichroic wheel with 13 colors and white, and a DataSwatch™ virtual library with 66 pre-programmed colors, including basic whites, rich saturated tones, and refined pastel shades.
As for the effects, the ''package'' is extremely rich! 10 static and 9 rotating gobo wheels, beam reducers, an animation wheel as well as the patented ROBE SpektraBeam bring the possibilities of unique lighting experiences. Patented MLP™ multi-level prism technology is also included, enabling "stacking" of multiple rotating prisms (6 prisms on two wheels) while maintaining individual control of position, speed and direction of rotation. With its variable shape and size, it creates unlimited dynamic, multi-level flower and beam effects, bringing a whole new collection of stunning creativity.
Innovative technologies for maximum reliability
ROBE GigaPointe comes in an IP65 housing, ideal for outdoor and demanding conditions, with only a minimal increase in weight compared to the MegaPointe (+ 3.5 kg). It includes an integrated CRMX wireless receiver along with all essential ROBE patented technologies such as MAPS™, EMS™, AirLOC™, AERIS™, RAINS™, POLAR+™, and more. One of new tech is GLINT™, GigaPointe Light Intensity Technology that automatically ensures outstanding light intensity, beam sharpness, uniform field, high contrast and vivid gobo projection at all optical settings.
For remote installations there is REAP™, which enables real-time device diagnostics and monitoring via a web browser, while NFC and the Robe Com app ensure quick and easy control from a mobile device.
