The development of LED lighting, LED video walls and digital production equipment has significantly changed the requirements for electrical systems at events. Today's devices use a switch mode power supply and create dynamic loads that traditional electricity distribution systems often cannot adequately monitor. StageSmarts solutions were developed precisely for such scenarios and enable stable lighting supplies for concerts, reliable energy distribution for LED video systems, secure electrical infrastructure for various productions, and complete control over electricity consumption.

Reliable power for demanding productions

StageSmarts power distribution systems are designed to operate in the most complex technical environments. Each device provides a stable power supply, reducing the risk of technical problems during an event. Electrical problems like power surges can cause serious damage and production interruptions. To eliminate such problems, StageSmarts solutions offer advanced protection against surges, loss of neutral conductors and electrical faults, thus protecting expensive equipment such as LED screens and processors, video servers, lighting and lighting controls.

Full control and monitoring of the system

One of the key advantages of these distribution systems is real-time monitoring of electrical parameters. Users are enabled to monitor system load, voltage, frequency, leakage current as well as the status of protective switches. Everything takes place through the StageSmarts software platform Ampacity, which enables analysis of all electrical parameters, display of historical data and monitoring of multiple devices within one system.

StageSmarts C-Series – StageSmarts power distribution for touring and concert applications

In the following, we will present one of the most popular StageSmarts product lines, the C-Series. This line was developed for concert touring applications, festival productions and demanding stage installations. It consists of StageSmart C12 and C24 models and C72tv (touring system with 72 channels). C-Series power distribution units (PDUs) are the heart of any system and provide stable and secure distribution with advanced monitoring functions. StageSmarts C12 and C24 models are professional 12 and 24 channel power distribution units. Each channel is equipped with RCBO 16a/30mA circuit breakers that protect against overload and short circuit. In addition to overload protection, there is an E-Stop button for emergency shutdown, and it is possible to monitor electricity consumption in real time via the built-in interface. Power to the unit comes via a 32A or 63A three-phase CEE connection. The unit is designed in a compact form and occupies 3U 19'' rack format (with C12) and 6U (with C24).

As for output connectors, StageSmarts offers several options such as Socapex 19-pin, Harting 10, 16 and 24 pins and Neutrik True1, which allows flexible connection of various AV equipment. In short, the C12 and C24 are designed for professionals who need compact distribution units, designed to handle the heaviest workloads while ensuring the safety and protection of the entire system.

StageSmarts C72tv

StageSmarts C72tv is a professional power distribution unit that includes 72 fully monitored channels and is intended for the most demanding stage productions. Each of the 72 channels is protected by 16A/30mA RCBO protection, and there is also a LoadSens system that allows monitoring the consumption of each channel in real time.The unit comes with a 400A Powerlock input with pass-through power for additional units, as well as multiple single-phase and three-phase outputs with adjustable current dissipation protection. The complete unit is housed in a robust wheeled flightcase that comes with modular output connectors for quick customization and easy maintenance.
