Lucenti Lighting Blackwave pixelbar

One of the most prominent Lucenti Lighting innovations is their Blackwave collection. This collection represents the pinnacle of technological development in the field of lighting, offering LED RGBW pixelbars where each individual pixel can be controlled, specially designed for the most demanding environments such as stages, festivals, clubs and art installations.

Blackwave comes in two pixelbar lengths of 50 cm (25 pixels - BW50) and 100 cm (50 pixels - BW100) with a 2 cm width and can be mapped and controlled via Art-Net or Sacn protocols. As standard, it comes with a stealth black (dark gray) cover, which is replaceable and available in different variants (matte, transparent, rounded, square, flat).

Pixelbar provides unlimited creative possibilities, and each of its pixels can be fully controlled in any shape and at any time. It is made from a lightweight yet robust construction, which is the result of feedback from lighting designers, rental companies and lighting technicians. Blackwave is IP66 certified, making it ideal for outdoor use, providing high resistance to dust and water.

System control

Lucenti PixlDrive1 is a controller for Lucenti Blackwave pixselbar and enables control of up to 400 pixels, which includes 8 BW100 or 16 BW50 devices, but also a combination of up to a total number of 400 pixels via one signal or cable. The total cable distance on one controller is up to 60 meters (from the PixlDrive1 control to the last Pixelbar). In addition to the aforementioned ArtNet and sACN protocols, it supports auto-addressing and auto-discovery functions that make it easier to work with.

For managing a larger number of pixels or a larger number of devices, there is the Lucenti PixlDrive8 Pro, an 8-channel PixlBus controller and LED driver with a built-in integrated power supply unit and KLSTR technology. It enables the control of up to 3200 RGBW pixels separately with the possibility of connecting up to 4 sources.

Flexible mounting possibilities

As we mentioned previously, Lucenti BW100 and BW50 come with different options of filters or covers, such as transparent, matte and black transparent in different shapes (round, square and flat), which maximizes their versatility.

All the cables are skillfully hidden on the back of the pixelbar with various options for easy and quick mounting with multiple hanging options. The devices are connected to each other with click connectors that are available in different variants and angles and will allow you to create the most diverse shapes. The power supply and signal source is delivered via special 4-pin connectors with one cable.
